A: No, if you’re just starting out on your buying or selling journey – you can join as a FREE Member! Set up your Moving Room Home and start building a list for the home you want to buy.
Upgrade when you’re ready to start!
A: It depends on the stage you’re at with the Estate Agency Site – if you are already getting offers or putting offers in, you can’t be starting the same process again with The Moving Room – it would be very confusing.
But if you have been the victim of a broken chain and don’t have any new transaction processes happening – you can leave that Agency process and join The Moving Room.
A: You are free to use whichever mortgage lender, broker, conveyancing solicitor and surveyors you want - but if you don't have any or all of them in place, the recommendations on The Moving Room have all been pre-vetted as properly qualified providers and most of them we already have experience of working with. Please note: Your Mortgage provider will normally arrange valuations and structural surveys if needed.
A: Basic information should include type of heating, garage, garden, how many rooms, if the kitchen big enough for a table, adding the council tax band, if freehold or lease hold etc. For an example of a full property description see Hints and Tips.
A: The Floor Plan should have rooms drawn to scale with measurements of each door, window, stair width and a separate plan for each floor.
A: One main one at the front, at least one of each room and one of the rear garden if applicable.
A: An EPC is a document that shows an assessment of how energy efficient a building is. The EPC contains: Information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs. Steps to improve a property’s energy efficiency and save money. And gives a property an energy efficiency rating from A (best) to G (worst) and is valid for 10 years.

A: To put your house on the market you'll need: Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), Photographs of your property, Floor Plans, Both basic and more detailed descriptions.
